Product description
- Limescale forms on heated elements and surfaces due to the calcium salts found in hard water. This increases running costs and shortens the life of the appliance. Cleaning regularly with Citric Acid keeps appliances limescale free. Citric Acid is also suitable for descaling showerheads, coffee machines, baby bottle sterilisers and other appliances
- Dishwashers Fill the detergent tablet container with Citric Acid and add the rest of the packet to the base of the empty machine. Run a full wash programme for ultimate cleaning
- Kettles Half fill the kettle with water and boil. Unplug, add approximately 1 3 of the packet and leave for 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and wipe down outside of kettle. Wipe any spills immediately. Repeat if required
- Irons Check if descaling is recommended by the manufacturer. Unplug the iron. Prepare a solution of two tablespoons of Citric Acid in hot water to half fill the iron. Hold iron over sink and switch on the steam. Refill with water and flush through, including the spray, until clear. Check by ironing and old piece of fabric
