Product description

  • Common Name Peacock Plant or Cathedral Windows
  • Characteristics Calathea Makoyana has both elegance and beauty for a houseplant. Displaying a Peacock-like tail which shows lush pale green leaves with hints of dark green from the middle. As new leaves grow, they form upwards, showing off their pinkish-red undersides giving it more vibrant colours to display. This Indoor plant can grow to heights of around 60cm.
  • Plant Advice The 'Peacock Plants' will thrive being planted in well-drained, moist soils. Be sure to situate away from any direct sunlight sources as this will damage the leaves. Water thoroughly during the growing season (June - September) and then only occasionally during the Winter months. It is advised to repot the plant once every two years - during Springtime is best.
