- WHAT IT IS - An adapter that helps you provide both power and a solid wired network connection to a single micro-USB port.
- How it works by converting the PoE (Power over Ethernet) signal, or by combining Ethernet and Micro-USB power to power and Ethernet over USB.
- What is PoE - Provides power and data with a single Ethernet cable for fewer wall outlets and messy cables. Extend the power line where no AC outlet is nearby, up to 300 feet away from the power source.
- What's needed You need an IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE switch or injector for PoE mode, or an additional micro-USB power supply for a simple Ethernet combination.
- Note 1. For Raspberry Pi Zero, plug in the micro USB port marked "USB" instead of "PWR". 2. Ensure that the PoE input is connected to an IEEE802.3af compliant PoE switch that has Internet connectivity and power over Ethernet in PoE mode. 3. It cannot be compatible with Android and iPad phones.
