BEGONIA TUBERS - Pink Double Begonia is a brightly coloured tuberous perennial that produces masses of large double petalled velvety pink flowers that contrast against its ruffled spade like dark green foliage. This Summer flowering plant is loved by pollinating insects, in particular bees and butterflies and popular in UK gardens blooming from June to October, with each flower growing to an incredible 15 cm in diameter. This stunning begonia will add colour and impact to wherever planted growing to a height of 30 cm, with a spread of 30 cm.

The Begonia mix is suitable for half shady locations and blooms from June to October. The perennial summer flowers are very easy to care for - only waterlogging does not tolerate the begonia.

Sow from Jan onwards indoors or heated undercover at 21-27C (70-80F) on the surface of a good fine seed compost and gently firm down (do not cover). Keep soil moist but not wet. Sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful to retain moisture.
