- FEATURES This XFORT 60mm lock for door features a knob handle that is comfortable and easy to use for internal operation. The night latch lock also has a snib button which can be used to engage the deadlock or temporarily restrict the latch bolt to prevent accidental locking. This feature is useful for doing something like taking the bins out, ensuring the door won t close behind you.
- APPLICATIONS An XFORT door lock is a convenient locking solution to your security needs. The door lock with key can be used to replace most existing night latches. XFORT internal door locks can be used on both right-handed and left-handed doors. Please refer to the images for detailed product dimensions.
- DEADLOCKING SECURITY The XFORT night latch provides additional security, acheived by turning the key on the outside one full turn (opposite to opening) which locks the latch in the closed position. The lock cannot be opened from the inside as the handle will be disabled, preventing intruders breaking external glass and trying to unlock the door. Also, any theives trying to use a credit card to open your door will have no success. Once deadlocked, a key is required to open the door.
- COMPLETE SET This XFORT nightlatch comes complete with a polished chrome replacement rim cylinder and 3 keys. It also has all the necessary fixing screws and fittings needed to make your switch as stress free as possible, making it a straight forward, easy installation. Please refer to the instruction sheet for installation procedure.
