- Acrylic provides a cleaner and more detailed sound by minimizing unwanted vibrations as a result of its high density and low stiffness.
- It is recommended that you place records directly on the acrylic platter with no mat to take full advantage of the properties of acrylic.
- Dimensions Diameter 11.8 inches (300mm), Thickness 0.71 inches (18mm), Weight 2lb, 1.3oz (946 grams), Diameter of center hole 0.29 inches (7.4mm), Diameter of carved out space under platter 9.65 inches (245mm), Depth of carved out space 0.39 inches (10mm). There is a large carved out area underneath to leave room for the belt drive system that sits under and inside the edges of the platter. This is not for a turntable where the belt goes around the diameter of the platter.
