- You can wired the automatic bilge pump to the 12 volt battery in the dinghy and it does its own thing quite happily. When it is going to be dry for several days you can disconnect it as it automatically comes on about every two and a half minutes to check the water depth. If there is water it will pump it out and then just stop until needed again.
- The automatic bilge pump does not need to be fully submersible for it to work there is a auto switch at the bottom in the blue tray but you have to wire it in to a live feed of you can wire the pump to come on when needed when you switch on the pump works on a 12v power supply your pump is in your engine bay to pump out wate.
