Product description

  • POWERFUL ALGAE TREATMENT Green water algae caused by over feeding and fish waste is unsightly in an aquarium and can be dangerous as it may alter the pH and oxygen levels. Algae Gone is a single-dose, plant-friendly treatment that will clarify the green or cloudy water in your aquarium. It works by clumping the minute particles together enabling your filter to strain them out.
  • PROMOTES A HEALTHIER AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT Combat unsightly green water and algae while promoting a healthier aquatic environment. Use Algae Gone when the water has become green or cloudy to help lower algae-causing phosphate levels, addressing the root cause and contributing to a balanced and thriving aquarium ecosystem.
  • EASY TO USE Simply calculate the volume of your aquarium in litres (length x width x depth in cm 1000) or use the NT LABs online Dosage Calculator. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. Mix the required dose of Algae Gone with 1 litre of aquarium water and add slowly to your aquarium. Remember to keep your aquarium away from direct sunlight and test your water for algae-fertilising nitrate using NT Labs Test Kits.
  • SUITABLE FOR REGULAR USE You can use Algae Boost weekly as part of your general aquarium maintenance regime. Ensure you carry out a water change before dosing the aquarium according to the instructions. Regular use of the product will result in less algal growth due to the removal of phosphate.
  • HOW ALGAE BOOST WORKS Algae Gone causes the particles of the single-celled algae, which cause green water, to clump together, allowing you to manually remove them from the water column or the filter. As a secondary effect, Algae Gone will remove phosphate from the water which the algae would previously feed off, starving the algae with repeated use.
