Versatile Self-leveling & Manual Modes This laser level offers two modes - self-leveling mode and manual mode. In self-leveling mode, simply unlock the pendulum and the laser beam will flash to remind you when the tool exceeds the self-leveling range of 4 . Once the pendulum is locked, press top buuton 3 seconds,it switches to manual mode, disabling the automatic leveling function and locking the crosshair. You can then position the laser level as need for alignments.
