The PRO GRIND Sharpening System also comes with a number of setup jigs and accessories to help in the setup process to sharpen your tools to the proper and repeatable angles. From the built-in projection gauge on the Multi-Grind arm to the Magnetic Micro Bevel setup block you ll be able to achieve consistent repeatable angles and produce excellent results each and every time you use the PRO GRIND Sharpening Jig system.

Quick & Easy to Use - This sharpening system is great for making accurate angles and straight edges very fast. It comes with two bases on each wheel of your grinder, which permit two grinding set ups. Each base accepts either sliding arm. Arms are adjusted or secured by a cam locking device.

One of the more challenging angles or grinds to achieve on our turning tools is getting the grind correct on a bowl gouge or spindle gouge. We have developed the Multi-Grind Jig with setup blocks to eliminate the guess work so you can focus on making the perfect bowl gouge or spindle gouge grind every time! Using this jig with any system that has a pocket v-arm attachment (not included) will make your bowl spindle gouge sharpening experience much smoother than ever before!

Ease of Use The metal angle sharpener clamps the tool to be sharpened by rotating the nut to adjust the width. By adjusting the tool projection, you can use the sharpening jig to set the angle precisely. It can be moved back and forth several times at the proper angle. Water can be added at any time during sharpening to provide a lubricating effect for sharpening.

Optional Sharpening Angles Standard sharpening angles are achieved by adjusting the distance between the top of the chisel and the sharpening guide 25 degrees at 2.9 inches 73 mm for the blade and 2.4 inches 60 mm for the chisel; 30 degrees at 2.2 inches 55 mm for the blade and 1.8 inches 46 mm for the chisel.
