- PLANTING GUIDE Our bulb plants prefer a sunny spot with well-drained soil and are best planted from September to November. Clear weeds, aerate the soil, and mix in organic matter to improve drainage. Plant each mini daffodil bulbs 2-3 times its height deep with the shoot facing up, and space them twice their width apart. They need watering if the soil is dry.
