- Most modern lenses do not have manual aperture rings, so you'll probably want to look for something that was produced in the film days (you may have something stored away in a closet that you can use!). The adapter you'll need will depend on two things - your camera lens mount and the filter diameter on your lens.
- This adapter is a perfect tool to make great macro shots for little money. The adapter can be used to attach compatible lenses upside down to a Sony E-Mount camera. This so-called retro position offers a larger magnification than the normal position and you can enlarge your subject significantly. The best results are achieved with wide-angle lenses, because the smaller the focal length, the larger the magnification.
