- SALAMANDER CT85 XTRA SHOWER PUMP The CT85-Xtra shower pump from Salamander Pumps is designed to boost water pressure to a single hot OR cold outlet. This pump is a 2.2 bar single regenerative pump suitable for boosting either hot or cold water pressure to a single outlet, such as a cistern, tap, or shower, in a gravity fed, positive head system. WRAS approved, awarded the Quiet Mark, and with a 3 year warranty , this is an affordable, hard-working solution to poor pressure in a single outlet.
- CT XTRA RANGE The CT Xtra Range is ideal for boosting water pressure to a thermostatic shower or tap. These pumps are only suitable for a positive head, gravity-fed system. Using regenerative impeller technology, the CT Xtra range offers compact designs that are less susceptible to aeration damage, and which have all been awarded the Quiet Mark.
- GRAVITY FED SYSTEM The CT85 Xtra is only compatible with gravity fed systems, which means a system in which there is a hot water cylinder in an airing cupboard and a large cold water tank in the loft. It is important to choose a pump that is compatible with the system in your home, as incorrect selection can mean the pump will not work. When using a pump for a gravity fed system, the pump will sit in the airing cupboard alongside the boiler.
- SUITABLE FOR USE WITH CISTERN, BASIN, TAP, OR SHOWER When selecting the right pump for your home, it is important to note that you can go up the range, but never down. For instance, a whole home pump (e.g. CTForce 30PT) can power a shower alone, but a shower only pump (e.g. CT50 Xtra) can NOT power a cistern, taps, whole house etc. The CT85 Xtra is compatible with a conventional shower, tap, wash basin, or cistern, to boost either hot or cold water.
- 2.2 BAR PRESSURE The CT85 Xtra Pump offers 2.2 bar pressure, which is enough to boost water pressure to one shower head. This quiet pump produces only 52dBA of noise as it is used, which is especially quiet for a regenerative pump.
