- Most plumbing products thread sizes are stated as BSP imperial thread measurements which means that the actual diameter of the thread is approximately 1 4 inch larger than that stated in BSP terms. For example the thread on this product has an actual thread diameter of approximately 3 4 inch. If you require one with an actual diameter of 1 2 inch you will require a 1 4 inch BSP thread.
- Replaces plastic or nylon backnuts fitted to many plumbing threads
- Generally for use on sink and basin taps often with an incoming water pipe diameter of 15mm
