• If you use additional insulation, make sure you do not insulate the built-in thermostat. This ensures that the thermostat works properly and the temperature is effectively regulated.
• The main purpose of this heating line is to reliably protect your water pipe from extreme frost. Even at temperatures down to -45 C, you can trust that your line is safe from freezing. This is especially important to avoid expensive repairs and unpleasant failures.
• With the integrated frost protection temperature switch, you have full control over the power of the heating cable. The switch-on temperature is about +3 C, which means that the heater is automatically activated when the temperature falls below this value. The switch-off temperature is about +13 C to ensure energy efficiency.
• Please note that this heating cable belongs to the mechanical strength class M1 and is therefore not suitable for applications with mechanical stress such as gutters or similar applications.
