- Instructions For ironing, place the patch on the clothes, glue side down, place a wet cloth on top of the patch. Place a hot iron on the wet cloth for 15-20 seconds. The steam generated will melt the glue and help stick the patch onto the clothes. Repeat if necessary and then allow to cool.
