- This lens hood is specially designed for standard lenses. These are lenses with a (small image equivalent) focal length of 50 mm, or lenses with an angle of view between 40 and 50 . The bezel has a screw thread. It is screwed to the filter thread of a corresponding lens. Length approx. 22 mm (without connection thread).
- The lens hood blocks laterally incident light. In this way, the diaphragm prevents side light reflections on lenses or socket parts, which can cause image defects such as low contrast or lens flare in the form of stray light.
