- EASY TO USE File on the larger flat edge. Insert your metal into either slot, with the flat side against the peg. Leave the part that you want to file hanging out. Evenly tighten the vise. File down the metal until it is flat against the steel of the jig.
- METALWORKING TOOL This jig is great for jewelry makers, metalsmiths and wire workers. In addition, this vise can be used to hold ring shanks, to file a flat spot, as well as opening jump rings. You can secure a larger ring on the vise and use that gap to open the jump rings.
