- Very easy to grow. Excellent Cutflowers. Attracts Bees and Butterflies. Plant now for flowering in April-June
- Growing to a height of just 40-60cm, these fabulous Gladioli are perfect for growing in patio pots and containers or in the summer border in a sheltered location. Gladious byzantinus grow to about half the height of large flowering gladioli so they are naturally sturdy and don t need to be staked. They look stunning planted in groups among shrubs and large herbaceous flowers in a border.
- Can be planted in Spring or in Autumn (September to December) for blooming in the spring. Gladioli byzantinus is hardy but still needs thick mulch covering in extreme winters. Flowering April - September if planted in succesion. Full grown height 40-60cm. Plant location sunny or partial shade. Plant depth 10-15cm.Spacing 10-15cm apart. Preferred soil any well drained soil. Hardy in most places throughout the UK.
