- EAT BETTER FOOD AND GROW BEAUTIFUL PLANTS WITH RAISED BEDS! Start growing your own vegetables, herbs and flowers with Conka s easy-assembly wooden planter kits. The soil in raised beds warms up faster, providing optimal soil depth and an earlier start for all your plants, especially useful on clay and impoverished soil. Reduces kneeling or bending in your garden or allotment. Our FSC-certified tanalised timber raised bed kits are resistant to rot and insect attack, lasting up to 10 years.
- CHOOSE YOUR SIZE BEFORE ORDERING Raised beds come with five height options 6" (15cm), 12" (30cm), 18" (46cm), 24" (61cm), 30 (76cm). Length options are 2ft (61cm), 3ft (91cm), 4ft (122cm), 6ft (183cm) or 8ft (244cm). Width of raised beds are a choice of 1ft (30cm), 2ft (61cm), 3ft (91cm), 4ft (122cm). All kits have 6" x 1" (61cm x 30cm) thick planks and 2 x 2 (61cm x 61cm) corner posts. Maximum single plank length is 4 feet (1.2m), longer planks supplied as two boards with joining pieces.
- EASY-ASSEMBLE FLAT PACK WITH PLANKS, CORNER POSTS & SCREWS Prepare or rotavate ground and ensure it is flat. Raised beds sit about 1 inch (3 cm) down in the earth. Assemble these planters with a second person, if possible, using a power drill and cordless screwdriver (not included). Start by joining panels vertically, attach joining pieces on long elements and join corners together using the corner post. Then push planter down onto soil. Timber is not planed, so fraying and chips can occur.
