- To your broken tab, you want to use a for (or equivalent) and take your time. Be sure to wear glasses and remove the old tab as much as possible so that the back of the cover is well aligned. Once this is done, you want to align the tab in the correct position on the lid.
- For SL-D2 type you align the base itself with the dust cover (see photo). For the Q200 type with the shorter cover, you will want to align the actual tab with the lid. I use #8 mechanical screws (included) work perfectly. If you want to drill a slightly more hole in your dust cover, this will give you some leeway where you would have lost your drilling a little.
- These work much better on the outside of the blanket than on the inside. I've always had problems with the lid not closing completely when you place the tabs inside.
- I use adhesive for painters does not leave residue and is strong enough. Make sure the new tab is in the correct position by placing the lid with the tab (held by adhesive) into the hinge of your table. easier if you replace a single tab, but if you need the , take your time, you will be to see the area where the old tab was located next to the marks for.
- Once everything is aligned, it's time to drill the holes in your dust cover. Technic covers are solid and I never broke one during the drilling process. This is important, leave the tabs on the cover (always secured by the painter). You can feel where the holes are in the tabs and drill accordingly. I have used this several times and !
