- This style of Ferro rods was originally developed for the British military. They have become famous for their extremely ergonomic handles, durability, and functionality.
- The large 90mm (L) x 8mm (W) Ferro rod produces showers of molten sparks reaching temperatures off 3,000 C (5,500 F) and allows for 15,000 strikes.
- Includes a 550 para-cord lanyard (1000mm (L)). An extremely useful tool when outdoors for shelter building, snares, etc. The long lanyard also makes it possible to wear around your neck or attach it to your rucksack or trousers for quick access. It also provides extra grip, which is especially useful when using the rod in colder climates.
- This Ferro rod is a fire-lighting workhorse. It will definitely get the job done!
