Product description
- Carrier Backing UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) polyethylene film. Adhesive acrylic. Release Liner white paper or blue film.
- Materials slide freely over the tape surface with no-slip stick tendency. High impact strength and shock-absorbing properties. Outwears Teflon many times over and is a good replacement when high-temperature resistance is not a requirement.
- Applications include rub strips on conveyors; bearings and sliding surfaces; chutes and hopper liners; dead plates; wear pads; guide rails; tool tables and fences; furniture and drawer slides runners.
- Thickness 9 mils (carrier, adhesive, liner) 5 mils (carrier, adhesive) 2 mils (adhesive) 3 mils (carrier) 4 mils (liner). Adhesion 50 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Tensile Strength 18 pounds per inch (longitudinal). Service Operating Temperature up to 300F. Elongation 300%. Core 3-inch diameter.
